Note: The newer models( including the new one used in this video), 15 May 2013 onwards seem to be different models, as it's no water drip mode, its shower face
looks different, and its Alternating Burst Mode seems faster than my "22 Sept 2011" version when it's new, however they should still break the same
as the one that I've used to review in this video I suppose, as not much have changed.
Btw, fyi, only for the "newer models" it's only 2 modes, the spray and the alternating burst mode, still, better than most showerheads in stores, no matter
how many modes they've.
Btw, on 9 Dec 2013 Monday I tried to order a Kitchen Faucet Aerator and a Bath Faucet Aerator on takeashower.com. I called on that day to confirm my order, it wasn't like this the first time I bought a takeashower.com handheld, but the guy on the phone this time treated me very rudely. Told me to send my Credit Card info via their Contact Form in their website and promised to ship on that day, so I did, it was ~11am EST in the morning.
The next day I called again as they didn't even process my payment yet, the same guy picked the phone, he asked the name I used to submit the contact form, I said I don't remember as I used a random name, he just closed the phone, the hell, I just sent my credit card info, he couldn't do that, that's irresponsible. I called again, I suggested a name I guessed I used for the contact form, he straight closed the phone, what a piece of crap kind of treatment.
Till 11 Dec 2013 Wednesday they've not even processed the payment yet, I'm not gonna wait any longer, I will cancel this order, but due to the irresponsible behavior of that customer service guy for takeashower.com above, I now need to cancel my Credit Card and then make a new one to make sure they don't process any $ later on in the future.
Whether they've always been this slow, don't keep their word & irresponsible, I don't know, maybe they've a completely incompetent staff right now.
Buyers Beware!
Btw, is anyone else having the same trouble?
Update 17 July 2018
Since this video I've ordered 2 more of this showerhead, both arrived fine despite my previous bad experience with the seller, each on
3 Apr 2014- The hose broke again in ~1 yr. I replaced its hose with highpressureshowerheads.com Premium Massage Hand-Held Shower Head's 59" Stainless Steel Hose, the hose's same pressure as "takeashower.com Fire Hydrant Spa Deluxe Hand Held Showerhead"'s, I don't know if takeashower.com's hose's Stainless Steel, they didn't say on their site.
While renovating my house I broke the showerhead, accidently dropped my closet on it, about July 2016, thus this time the showerhead alone lasted ~2 yrs 2 mths.
2 Aug 2016- Current one, I haven't bothered to use its hose knowing all previous, 3 yet's hose's broke fast, continued using highpressureshowerheads.com Premium Massage Hand-Held Shower Head's 59" Stainless Steel Hose above, so this time both this showerhead and that hose yet's lasted ~1 yr 10 mths. Will update this post if there's any update.
So, highpressureshowerheads.com Premium Massage Hand-Held Shower Head's Stainless Steel Hose's least's as good as takeashower.com's.
Thus, yet if you guys' shower hose for any showerhead broke, can't find least as good one as takeashower.com Fire Hydrant Spa Deluxe Hand Held Showerhead's and want one least as good, I recommend you guys buy highpressureshowerheads.com Premium Massage Hand-Held Shower Head's 59" Stainless Steel Hose, sold separately from their showerheads, 79" if you want to match takeashower.com Fire Hydrant Spa Deluxe Hand Held Showerhead's hose length, $15- 20 excluding shipping, compared to buying a new "takeashower.com Fire Hydrant Spa Deluxe Hand Held Showerhead" with its 59" hose ~$84.5 including shipping.
If you guys've any questions can post in the chat above.
